The three roots

To discuss how the universe was made, consider the following. We begin with no assumptions. Then add the infimum assumption (the mimimum possible statement that can be made).

using language as a logical system, see how:

nothing exists

means both:

>there is not anything that exists

>nothing does exist

saying "there is not anything that exists". could mean not-anything (complement of 'anything') exists. therefore, definite things exist because they are not "anything" because anything is a variable and the negation (opposite) of variable is definite. so it means 'everything' exists. this counts every definite thing, not counting indefinite/vague/temporary things. it is the eternal existence.

aka: the light root, the root of light

saying, "nothing does exist" there is a form of "nothing" that exists. its like saying that which has no form, has a form. this nebulous non-thing is trying to exist but it is somehow inconsistent. and yet it exists already since it isn't anything. it is a thing that is "non-thing". it transiently exist but it is not a thing, having lack of presence. it is illusion, it is the stuff of the temporal universe.

aka: the dark root, the root of darkness

there is also the corollary of the the above. from 'non-thing' (nature of dark) may proceeds pairs of opposite things (nature of light) which can annihilate each other... 1 - 1 = 0, 2 - 2 = 0, ... x - x = 0. so it doesn't change the fact that nothing exists but it's got another meaning x = x, is a being, where the hypostasis (universal substance) is in a different configuration. the interaction of pairs can make different things happen. for example the comingling of male and female (positive and negative) can produce another male or female, which can comingle with an opposite as well.

aka: spiritual root, the root of spirit

if your interested in the spirit opposites and synthesis and how that works see:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dialectic

you can easily ask AI what is the antithesis (opposite) of a certain thesis (idea), and what is the synthesis (resultant combination) of two opposites.

this article is partially inspired by the folowing:

http://www.gnosis.org/naghamm/para_shem.html

it does not explain the roots as above, rather it introduces them. i have not seen talk of the three roots anywhere else.

you can see how light things are straightforward, dark things are chaotic, and spritual things are dynamic. it seems possible and logical that eventually the darkness will be gone (into the past) where rather than spanning all of space it will be turned inward, and spiritual things will be embued with light and become eternal and actual. the light itself will span the space with definite objects. the light and dark will be exchanged by sphere eversion.
